At the World Water Forum in Daegu (Korea) in the center Omar Houmadi President of the Union of Committees of Water Anjouan (UCEA) with to his left Mr. Aymeric Blanc, Project Manager at the French Development Agency (AFD) and to his right François-Marie Perrot, President of LYSA, at the end of a workshop on functional and sustainable management of small urban drinking water services, during which Omar Houmadi presented the inter-village drinking water supply system of Sima (Anjouan, Union of Comoros) and the operational assistance of LYSA with the implementation of management tools in particular LYSASOFT® customer management software. The drinking water supply project includes a pumping station, 10 water tanks and two treatment processing units, financed by the AFD (€ 4.2M). It delivers drinking water to 12,000 inhabitants since May 2014, with volume-based billing and a recovery rate of 94% achieved in March 2015.
